Morten, Consultant
You are not only surrounded by some of the brightest minds in their field but they also always have time for a technical discussion when you need it.
Career
I joined Platon as software developer in the department Knowledge and IT in 2007. Through Platon’s internal education system, I found the interest to work more focused with BI and in 2009 when I wanted to pursue the role of a consultant, Platon was open to the idea and helped me on the way. I find it very important that you have the opportunity to shape your own development in the direction you wish, thus I appreciate that Platon has emphasis on personal and professional development.
Daily working life
One can quickly come to feel alone and isolated as a consultant, but not in Platon! Platon is a strong and solid base where you feel comfortable and a lot is being done so you can constantly feel like part of a team. Knowledge sharing is a big part of life in Platon and it happens through our portal, master classes or department meetings, which in turn helps to strengthen unity between colleagues.
Colleagues
The first thing I noticed was the good collegial atmosphere. Platon has a strong emphasis on the social aspect and therefore there are also many good events you can attend with your colleagues. You are not only surrounded by some of the brightest minds in their field but they also always have time for a technical discussion when you need it. Every six months a summit is arranged which aims to gather the entire Platon Group for some days. Here you participate in both academic and social events – and this is truly some of the best I have ever attended!
