Platon is participating in the annual CFO ANZ Summit 2009 on the 15 – 17 March 2009 at the RACV Royal Pines Resort, Queensland Australia.
This 9th summit will welcome Australia and New Zealand’s top financial executives from all major industry sectors and the profession’s current challenges and opportunities will be highlighted. The most esteemed leaders in the CFO community will deliver the presentations and case studies and one-to-one meetings with leading service providers will provide a wealth of financial and corporate expertise.
Lately it has become more challenging for Australian and New Zealand finance strategists to expand their networks, because of a shrinking talent pool and an unfavorable economic climate. Furthermore the CFO is participating extensively in corporate initiatives and the roles of senior financial executives are evolving beyond traditional financial management. The CFOs are at the same time rising fast in the corporate power structure, poised to stand as equals with their chief executive counterparts. This summit has taken a natural focus on how to create a faster, leaner and agile finance function and will at the same time give the CFOs an opportunity to expand their network. Platon is looking forward to participate in this Summit and discuss the challenges all CFOs faces.
