Platon.net is a CO2-neutral website
Platons website is from April 2009 CO2-neutral. This means that Platon buys certified CO2-quotes that cover the discharge of CO2 from all of Platons severs and from visitor’s computers, monitors etc. This way Platon will achieve a CO2-neutralisation and green climate friendly surfing.
Platon has chosen to be a part of this initiative because the internet is discharging more CO2 than the whole air transportation industry and this constitutes an important focus area in relation to the climate problems. Platon hopes that this initiative contributes a little bit to the environment and enhances focus on social responsibility.
